Polk Audio DB651 6.5-Inch Coaxial Speakers (Pair, Silver)

These sound awesome. Very clean clear and crisp sound. Im gonna buy more for the rear speakers.

Thank you Amazon for supplying the Polk coax at a sweet price. These amazing speakers brought an incredible increase to my already quality system. I don't know if they are still running the promotion but, I was able to purchase these speakers for $25.00 by opening an Amazon visa which gave a reward of $30.00. I personally would not waste my money on any other speaker, the polks are hands down the best speaker I have heard for the money. I recieved the speakers 4 days early which is always good; but then again Amazon is always the best! Instalation was a breeze, you wont be dissapointed

These 6.5" speakers are too small to fit the doors in my 2001 Toyota Sienna LE. The supplied plastic adapter is too large. I returned these (at my expense) and will be trying a 6.75" size next.

After ordering I checked the Amazon.com car speaker finder tool, and it says these speakers will fit my model. It is incorrect. The speakers seem fine, but the website is lacking.

For the price paid they are excellent speakers.

If you purchase these speakers for use on the rear deck of your car, make sure you listen to them closely at different volume levels before closing everthing up. The high range at low volume levels drowned the midrange.

However there is a simple work around provided.

I purchased a set of four DB651's to replace the factory speakers in my 2004 Nissan Sentra. My intention was to replace the entire factory sound system piece by piece, but once I installed these speakers I realized I didn't need to change out my head unit or add an amp. These speakers sound perfect with the factory HU. I can turn the HU up to maximum volume and the Polk can handle it with no distortion. When I first installed them, I had a raspy popping sound, but I realized the factory subwoofer was still connected. Since disconnecting the Sub the sound has been perfect! These speakers pick up the bass perfectly, so I decided not to add a sub at all. The sound isn't competition quality, but more than what I'll ever need. Perfect full-range speakers for the average listener. Purchasing these speakers saved me a lot of money on replacing the rest of my system. Thanks Polk!! You have a new fan!
