Great Ipod control and power output
Great car receiver with Ipod control, and plenty of power for an aftermarket receiver. This item was purchased to replace a ten year old Pioneer cd receiver (wanted Ipod controls). I was surprised how much better this unit sounded, even rated at 50 watts vs. the Pioneer's 45 watts. Good looking with the blue/red dials/buttons, easy search function for Ipod (artist, song, genre, etc), and great tuner for AM/FM. USB port in front makes it very easy to connect thumb drive, usb hard drive, or ipod. Only wish would be that it supported AAC files when playing cd (only WMA and MP3), but mostly use Ipod so this is only a slight inconvenience. This is a great deal with all the functions, the overall power of the unit, and the Ipod control with options for Satellite radio/bluetooth that can be added on later. Best of all, you get all this for just over $100!

Not iPod or iPhone friendly
This is a nice stereo. Sound is great and it is full featured. I bought the Kenwood iPod cable that is used to connected an iPod to the USB/Aux front panel. I tried my 4th,5th Gen iPods and iPhone, all the same behavior. Well, it works on Aux. Using the USB port will just display "Reading" on the front panel. After 2 hours of it "Reading" I uplugged it. Also, there is no on/off switch. There is a mode button on the front and one of the modes is Standby. So you have to press the button to cycle through the modes Radio-CD-USB-Aux-Standby. Happy with the sound quality of this stereo but the user interface and iPod connectivity is lacking.

Great for the price
I bought this car stereo for my Xterra, for the price, you can't beat it. I saved $40.00 over the price at my local electronics store. I haven't figured out how to use the usb flash drive option yet, but I'm an old guy, I'll have one of my kids show how that works. For $103.00 you can't go wrong.

Kenwood BEST BUY
Great for People who have alot of MP3,WMA files on there computers one USB Flash Card is all it takes to drop all the cd you have in to a small flash card.
But You guys with Ipods, Zunes,or other MP3 Player. You are not left in the dark Thank to the AUX port on the front.

I Have To Say IT WAS A GREAT BUY

Very Good radio for the price.
I found the product and features as expected, and was able install for Corolla-2000 in couple of hours. It needed a harness adapter to connect Kenwood radio to car's audio cables, that has to be bought separately (about 10$). If the car is older, it might need full install kit (around 22$).

Operating was not difficult, but took a while to figure out that, press and hold SRC to switch it off.

Couple of things I didn't like is about the display, it keeps scrolling can become distracting in the night. Another thing about display is, cannot read it when
sun falls at certain angles.

Needless to say, to activate Bluetooth/HD Radio need separate Kenwood devices that are not cheap.
