I have had 4 Canon camera's... they have all been a good buy.
My wife had a Sony small camera... and didn't like it...
was hard to use .... I talked her into this camera...
and she loves it.. Simple,clean,small
Just the camera she needs.

The picture quality is really very poor. The video recorded is pathetic. Was embarassed to have got it.

Review of the Canon A1100IS Digital Camera
After only three months the lens would no longer open. I followed instructions from others on the internet who experienced the same problem. I could not get it open. The camera was like new. I only used it a few times. Never dropped it. Yes, the pictures were good but...a "throw away camera" after only three months!! Too expensive for that! The cost of sending it back for repair exceeded the value of the camera. Check this problem out online BEFORE you spend your money. I will not buy another Canon camera. They're junk!

Awesome little camera
I've owned a wonderful Canon camera for a while now(Power Shot SX10IS) but it is big and bulky and not convenient to carry around with me, just in case i need it. I cannot tell you how many times i have said I WISH i had my camera with me....Well, i bought this little beauty and keep it in my handbag and have used it countless times. I am thrilled with the ease of use and the quality of the pictures it takes. I would definitely recommend this camera to my family and friends.

Takes great pictures. The quality is fantanstic. The camera its self is fun and easy to use with alot of great features. Love it. I recommend buying this product.
