I did a lot of research before buying this camera and my research paid off well... Good picture quality in daylight/ indoor night settings. Worth the price!

This camera works great and is easy to use. The delay is very short (Much faster than my last Digital camera Nikon) and has tons of features. I love the super wide angle. Would highly recommend.

My last Canon was stolen from our car so I needed to get another. I upgraded to this SD870IS model and am delighted that the viewer is larger and takes crystal clear photos. Love the portable purse-perfect size.

My third of these cameras to buy for myself and family members. The wide screen lens takes excellent landscapes while the face tracking and automatic exposure makes portraits and candid shots a breeze. The LCD display is one of the best I've ever seen.

The Canon PowerShot 870IS is my 3rd Canon PowerShot camera within 5 years. It is by far the best Canon camera that I have ever owned. This 8 megapixel camera delivers excellent photos and features for it's small size. After extensive research, I was thoroughly impressed with every feature, including the battery life (1 week on a single charge). The only feature that is missing from this camera (which I do not need anyway) is an optical view finder. The large LCD back screen is the only available view finder for this camera.
