This is the best thing I have ever bought!!! It didn't fog up at all!! My camera fit perfectly and it was so easy to switch between pictures and video. The pictures came out so clear. 2008-09-02

I recently bought this case along with the SD850 camera for a trip to Peurto Rico.
I never had the chance to try it in the ocean, as my camera was stolen on day 3, but I was able to try out the camera/housing in the pool at our hotel. The case is easy to load and unload, and all your camera functions are usable underwater. It even records sound underwater! The only downside is that unless you know the camera controls, you'll have a hard time reading the VERY faint embossed tags on the case itself. Canon includes a sticker to remind you what the controls are, but I never found a good place to put it. All in all, a very good case, highly recommended. I did not have a chance to try out the flash diffuser. 2008-07-12

It does what its suppose to do. Takes good pictures, its easy to install the camera in. The only catch with the housing is shooting video. Your sound will be very low since its sealed inside a plastic housing, this is understandable, however just be aware of this fact before purchasing. 2008-07-06

I don't write many reviews, but I really wanted to for this wonderful little product. I just returned from Akumal, Mexico and loved having this cases with me for some great underwater pics. Sure, you can go out and buy one of those disposable underwater cameras...I used to. But, if you already have a Canon camera (which are really the best point and shoots out there imho), you'd be silly to not own one of their waterproof cases. I did have to guess at many of my shots, but I had to do that with the disposable cams too. I wish I would have thought to go into the camera's options and boost the lcd to 100% instead of the default 50%. That may well have helped me see the screen better. The image quality underwater and above water was spectacular with the case. I did have some water spotting when I came out from the water, but I learned to blow the water drops off before shooting...no biggie. I had no issues with fogging. If you want to extend the use of your canon digicam go with this case (or the appropriate model). Also, tweaking the exposure setting in manual mode and leaving the flash off gave me quite a few more shots underwater. The flash shows all the bubbles if you're in a low light setting...like a cenote! 2008-05-26
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Wonderful case: perfect combination with SD850 (or 950is in Europe)
It is the perfect match for the camera, of course. Is is a lightweight, yet
secure case for the SD850. I tested it in Red Sea, taking picture of a Dugongo ! I'd love to have some accessories available, like filters (when you are diving the blue component becomes significant below 10m) and more powerfuls underwater flash. Anyway, a good price/quality balance. 2008-05-09
